Is it really accurate?
One calibration, and you're ready.
But no two sessions are the same — the seat, the stand height, the way you move. So we built a system that keeps adjusting itself as you play. The more you use it, the more consistent it becomes, even as your position changes.
The first month is free with every feature, and everything it has learned carries over when you subscribe.
What if it turns by mistake?
Preventing accidental turns mattered just as much as accuracy.
Your gaze has to settle in the trigger zone — and after a turn, it must leave and come back before the next one.
You can tune both the dwell time and the size of the zone yourself.
Which iPad do I need?
Klassian runs on iPad Pro (2018 or later), iPad Air (3rd generation or later), iPad mini (5th generation or later), and iPad (8th generation or later). No pedal, no remote.
Does the camera feed ever leave the device?
Never. Gaze tracking begins and ends on this device — your face and the camera feed are never stored, never sent.
So even in a hall with no internet, you can read and turn pages as usual.
Can I use just an iPhone?
The iPhone app is built around your schedule and your practice. You can view scores on iPhone; gaze-controlled page turns and annotations are available on iPad.
Your data syncs automatically across devices, and one subscription covers them all.
Does Klassian work with glasses?
Glasses are fine as long as your eyes remain visible.
Strong light reflecting off the lenses, though, can reduce accuracy.
Does it use much battery?
When you're only reading scores, battery use is similar to other apps.
With gaze tracking on, the camera and face tracking run continuously, so battery use increases.
For long rehearsals and performances, we recommend a charger or a battery pack.
